Fa 'atalu id dinosauraat il kubaar bi rimaaḥ kubaar.   So they killed the big dinosaurs with big spears.

وِبـَعْدْ وَقـْتْ قـُلَيِّلْ اِلأرْضْ اِلـْواسْعَةْ ما كانْشْ فيها دَيْنَصوراتْ        [click]

wi baïçd wa't ulayyil il 'arḍ il wasïça makannish ïçandaha dinosaurs ṭayyibiin.   And soon the expansive earth had no more friendly dinosaurs.

دِلـْوَقـْتِ اِلـْبَني آدْمينْ الصـُّغَيَّرين غـَلـَبوا اِلأرْضْ اِلـْواسْعَةْ        [click]

dilwa'ti il bana'dmiin is sughayariinghalabu il 'arḍ il wasïça.   Now the small humans had conquered the expansive earth.

بـَسْ الأرْضْ اِلـْحَزينـَةْ قاوْمِتْ وِغـَلـَبِتْ اِلـْبَني آدْمينْ اِلطـَّموحينْ       [click]

bas l 'arḍ il ḥaziina qawmit wi ghalabit il bana'admiin it tamuḥiin.   But the mourning earth, resisted, and conquered the ambitious humans...

اِلـْهَوا وِالشَّمْسْ وِالأمْتارْ ساعْدوا اِلأرْضْ اِلـْواسْعَةْ في تـَدْميرْ اِلـْبـَني آدْمينْ اِلطـَّموحينْ        [click]

Il hawa, lsh shams wi il 'amṭaar saïçdu il 'arḍ il wasïça fi tadmiir il bana'admiin it    tamuḥiin.   The air, the sun and the rains helped the expansive earth destroy the ambitious   humans.

Lighaayit ma yuum il 'arḍ iṣ ṣaamita makansh fiiha dinosauraat ṭayyibiin wala bana'admiin    tamuḥiin.   Until one day the mute earth no longer had friendly dinosaurs nor   ambitious humans.
